Sydney Multicultural Community Services' ACVVS program serves culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) residents who may be isolated by limited family support and language and cultural barriers.

Sydney MCS recruits, trains and supports volunteers to visit eligible residents in an aged care facility or at home.

Essential Criteria: • Respect the rights of the client including confidentiality, privacy and maintain dignity. • Exercise a duty of care at all times. • Communication skills (listening and speaking skills). • Emotional qualification skill, team work, reporting skill, community services skill and other skills which will be helpful in assisting the seniors and the elderly.

Requirements: • Third COVID-19 vaccine is MUST. • Complete a mandatory Police check. • Inductions and online training will be provided by Sydney MCS.
