We have an amazing opportunity opening at Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney to be our Volunteer Overnight Caretaker living onsite at our Randwick House. Our House has 31 rooms and supports families of sick and injured children who live over 100kms away accessing the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick.

The main role requirements of this position are to be “on call” during the overnight shift and to attend to any emergencies, urgent resident requests, check ins or issues plus some general housekeeping duties. To meet the needs of this live in position, we require a volunteer to be available Sunday-Thursday from 8.45pm to 8am (you can sleep! But you will be accessible via an on call phone as needed).

This role is contracted for 12 months and supports the House overnight from Sunday-Thursday and is an unpaid position. The Volunteer is provided with free accommodation onsite at the Ronald McDonald House Randwick for the term of the contract including utility costs, provision of free Wi-Fi and one parking spot if required.
