About the Role:

The Newsletter is an important way of staying in touch with our Members and keeping them informed of updates on the Competition and general items of interest, and offering invitations to recitals. The Newsletter Coordinator will attend monthly Council meetings (1pm on a weekday), and take ownership of the end to end production of the newsletter. This involves soliciting content from other Council members (and writing content), coordinating and editing the newsletter content and layout, liaison with others for mailing lists, inserts, mailing labels, and organising printing and mailing.

About Us:

The Sydney International Piano Competition of Australia is held every four years and attracts outstanding young pianists from all over the world. The Council of the Friends raises and donates funds towards the Competition prizes. The Council also provides support to the Competition.

About You:

You have good organisational skills, can manage various tasks and have demonstrated ability to work to a timeline. Demonstrable written communication skills, including experience in writing, proof reading and editing. Desktop publishing skills would be an advantage, however this task can be outsourced.
