Gallery assistant tasks are: providing customer service and assistance to visitors, art/craft students, and tutors; participating in administrative tasks in preparation of events and exhibitions; participating in exhibition setup; maintaining databases; housekeeping and keeping gallery and gallery shop spotless, which includes vacuuming, dusting, removal of rubbish/recycling and washing. Besides general duties, Gallery One volunteers are encouraged to express their interest and participate in various activities/ projects. Volunteers are supported in developing/coordinating projects, provided that project/s are in line with Gallery One mission and vision.
