Training Programme Coordinator and Admin Assistant

SisterWorks is a partner of UN Women, to deliver UN Women’ Second Chance Education pilot project in Australia. SisterWorks provides training programs to the most vulnerable women with little English of Refugee and migrant backgrounds. As a Training Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting women who are seeking to develop craft and creative skills, knowledge and experience for further development.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engaging sisters to participate in training activities, making invitation calls and creating training rosters.
  • Supervise training activities, controlling attendance, supporting teachers and guaranteeing well-maintained equipment and all materials needed. Supervise each sister's assessment, update their profiles, and refer them to social/business/pathways mentors.
  • Work in a team with other coordinators and teachers to organize activities and to guarantee SisterWorks app and videos are used by all sisters in different activities.

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Good computer and smartphone skills.
  • Ability to lead activities and to work as part of a team.
  • Prior experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Good listening and observation skills.

This role is best suited to someone
