The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this position on behalf of the City of Boroondara - FReeZA program.

Solar Productions is seeking creative, young volunteers to join our dynamic and innovative team. By becoming a Solar Productions Crew Member you will be able to gain experience in the design and delivery of youth events whilst building upon skills relevant to working within the events management, music, arts and performing arts industries.

We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable volunteers who have skills or a keen interest in the areas of:

• Event Management
• Gallery Curation
• Artist Liaison
• Podcasting
• Sound and Lighting Technician
• Graphic Design and Marketing
• Photography and videography

To be successful for this position candidates must meet the following criteria

• Commit to weekly meetings held on a Thursday between 3.30pm - 5.30pm
• Commit to 5 events annually
• Aged between 12 - 25 years
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently to complete tasks
• Respect for diverse peoples and communities
• A positive and open minded approach to project delivery and willingness to learn new skills
• Working with Children Check for applicants 18+ years or anyone who will be turning 18 whilst on the program
• Complete induction and attend annual training session
