SAFE Karratha - Foster Care Coordinator

SAFE Inc. is WA's largest animal rescue and re-homing organisation operating on a foster care model. SAFE's network of foster carers extends across eleven branches throughout WA.
If you are based within the City of Karratha, enjoy working in a supportive team environment, have great people skills and can reliably commit to between 8-12 hours per week, we would love to hear from you.
The role of Foster Coordinator is central to SAFE's mission to save homeless pets from unnecessary euthanasia by fostering, de-sexing and permanently rehoming them. This role is suited to people with strong communication skills, a real commitment to helping save animals from euthanasia, the ability to prioritise effectively, a positive and optimistic outlook and able to work independently and as part of a team. Key Tasks • Coordination of the SAFE Karratha volunteer foster carers • Recruitment of new foster carers • Matching animals with carers • Assisting in resolving issues or concerns • Providing support to the SAFE Karratha team
Training is provided, and this key team role will maximise the number of animals our team can rescue. Without foster carers, no animals would be saved.
Join our team of 'can-do' people motivated to make a real difference in the lives of homeless cats and dogs AND their adopters.
