We are seeking a motivated Grants Manager to join our team!

The Grants Manager plays a key role in our organisation, working to secure funding for our programs and organizing the submission of acquittal reports at the end of a funding period

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying funding opportunities and drafting grant applications
• Work closely with Treasury and the Presidents to stay up to date with current funding levels for each program
• Oversee the drafting and submission of acquittal reports at the end of a funding period
• Attend a monthly admin day

Essential Attributes

• Motivation and Commitment – we are seeking people who can commit to this role for at least 12 months
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to work autonomously and with others
• Highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
• Ability to manage information and work with data
• Ability to understand, adhere to and identify areas of improvement in processes and procedures
• Ability to work with web-based programs such as Zoom and Google Drive

Desired Attributes

• Experience writing/assessing grant applications is highly desirable
• Driver’s License and Vehicle

About Us: Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. We run monthly excursions that are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day!
