Covid Safety Marshals are required at the South West Multicultural Festival on 20th February to remind event attendees of the need to physically distance 1.5m between themselves and those who are not within the same household and to ask people to sign the register before participating in activities.

Covid Event Marshals must • be over 18 years of age; • be willing to complete the online training course "COVID-19 Infection Control Training" provided by the Department of Health. • visually identify themselves as a COVID Safety Marshal to the public and any authorised officer (e.g. wear a distinctive Hi-Vis vest); • not simultaneously perform another role at the event, unless otherwise approved in the COVID Event Plan or by Event Coordinator;

NOTE: This is an advisory role only and security staff would assist if required.

You will choose a 3 hour shift - either 3pm - 6pm OR 6pm - 9pm.
