About the role

Burwood Library and Community Hub is seeking a qualified, experienced and committed tutor to participate in running a 2 hour long, weekly English Conversation Class during school terms.

Volunteers are to engage members of the community in English Conversation on a range of topics to help them to enhance or practice their English skills in a socially informal environment.

The class will provide an informal opportunity to get people talking to practise their English and meet new people in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Location: Burwood, Burwood Library Days: Friday 9.30am to 11.30am

You will need:

• Preferably a retired teacher
• Must have qualifications in ESL teaching
• Experienced in ESL teaching is preferred
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be committed and enthusiastic
• Be reliable and able to commit to at least 6 months.
• Show reliability and punctuality
