Bocce Australia National Sports Development Officer (NDO) will:
plan and organise Bocce sports projects and campaigns in order to get more people involved. The programs will be aligned with Bocce Australia’s 5-year strategic direction which is to work towards making the sport of bocce more accessible to everyone and aim to get people living a healthier lifestyle. The responsibilities include: • organising, developing and delivering a varied range of bocce specific sporting activities or programmes • managing project budgets • producing promotional material and displays • keeping statistical and financial records • planning & undertaking administrative tasks • writing reports and press releases • liaising and working with relevant organisations or agencies including schools, clubs, coaches and sports councils • organising and undertaking market research • monitoring and assessing progress. The work can be exciting, meeting people with some evening, weekend and public holiday work.
