Who we are

FOXG1 Foundation Australia is a charity dedicated to raising awareness of FOXG1 and trying to find a cure for FOXG1. By studying FOXG1, we can also understand to prevent or cure diseases such as autism, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, and schizophrenia.

The Role

As a developer, you will lead and participate in development projects for our product, and be involved in all development-related aspects of our technical operations and infrastructure.

The candidate will be responsible for interacting with internal and external customers, gather requirements, map them to the system design solution if required, discuss it with the Functional consultant and deploy/implement it and post-implementation support.

Functional Skills

• Good understanding of ERP Process and system
• Analyze customers’ needs and business processes in order to map them properly with Odoo.
• Deliver functional training sessions (prepare materials)
• Prefer to have hands-on experience in implementing Odoo Sh, Odoo Community Edition, or experience in implementing any other ERP Software.
• Provide best solution to the problems of the customers
• Implement Odoo based on requirements gathered
• Respond to Support Tickets and provide solutions-

Business Process Mapping

• Develop system architecture in consultation with the development team
• As-is & To-be Analysis
• Analyze and document (Business requirement specification BRS) business process and workflows for each department (Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc)
• Should be able to convert BRS to SRS (Software requirement specification SRS) and work with Odoo development team to get the workflows mapped in the system
• Act as a link between Business and IT: provide business priorities, challenge IT solutions, and follow-up implementation 

ERP Implementation

• Follow and check the development (functional testing and presentation to the internal customer for validation)
• Act as a business representative during the implementation of solutions to ensure business needs are met
• Optimize solutions related to specific project issues
• Provide Odoo functional training sessions to the end-users (Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc)
• Define the scope of the testing & develop business test scenarios
• Provide support to the end-users during the User Acceptance Test

Project Management (Optional)

• Should be able to handle detailed project planning from requirement generation to Implementation
• Resource planning and allocation
• Divide the total project into Task, Sub-Task, and Milestones and maintain adherence to the project timeline.

Must Haves

• Ability to understand different business processes
• Ability to learn fast and execute accordingly
• An affinity with the IT world, you understand what an ERP is and what open source is
• Excellent planning and communication skills
