Volunteering in the Inbound Contact Centre you will respond to enquiries from the general public, clients and stakeholders. Duties include:

  • answering phones and directing people's calls to the right person/team
  • handling enquiries
  • data entry.

Position requirements:

  • great customer service skills
  • basic computer skills
  • able to recognise and respect the dignity, privacy, spiritual and cultural needs of clients and have a caring compassionate nature for our clients
  • willing to undertake training
  • able to quickly digest and share information
  • able to work well in a busy environment.

Previous call centre experience is helpful, but not required.

Full training is provided to successful volunteers.

This role is an approved Centrelink activity.
