CCNB, a not-for-profit community organisation, believes that kindness and community will make the difference in many people’s lives. The Northern Beaches region has a very high population of older people, people living with disability and mental illness and people living alone that need support. Our social support program aims to link individuals with suitable Volunteers.
Subject to a Criminal Record and Reference Check anyone over the age of 18 can be a volunteer. Our volunteer roles can fit around your availability and schedule. To register your interest in becoming a CCNB Community Volunteer, you can complete our easy to use volunteer registration form, found on our website details and links are provided in the auto response that you will receive when submitting interest in this role online.
We insist that all volunteers follow the Australian Government, Department of Health Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) guidelines at all times.
Benefits: There are many benefits to becoming a CCNB Community Volunteer. Our current Volunteers get great satisfaction from supporting people in their local area that otherwise would be without connection or support. CCNB strives to ensure that Volunteers are supported, trained and valued as part of our community volunteer team. CCNB's Volunteer Skilling Up Training gives you the opportunity to meet other volunteers and build confidence to deliver expert social care and support. Our Volunteers also receive ongoing support throughout the year, from our dedicated Volunteer Coordinator.
