This role gives our volunteer the opportunity to learn a wide range of roles at our centre at Bateau Bay, including Main Entry Reception Desk, Op Shop assistance, assisting in the kitchen and some related cleaning. This is a fulfilling role which gives back to the local community and provides a sense of community spirit. Duties include:

Main Entry / Reception Desk • Meet & Greet Clients • Answer Telephone – Take Messages • Provide General Information to Clients • Ad hoc duties as directed by Centre Management

General Duties • Meet & Greet Clients • Assist with unloading of vehicle deliveries (food) (up to 5kgs) • Assist with set up of food tables for distribution • Assist with sorting and display of clothing items • Ad hoc duties as directed by Centre Management

Cleaning

• Ad hoc duties as directed by Centre Management

Kitchen • Assist with preparation of food • Cleaning of Kitchen

Clothing OP Shop • Assist with sorting and displaying items of clothing • Laundering of clothes
