Established in 2013, Mood Active is a small, not for profit association based in Sydney. We provide a tailored exercise programs to the support needs of our clients who can choose from a  casual program, 4 week well-being workout or more intense support 8 week 1:1 exercise coaching program. Participants are typically referred to us by GP’s, psychologists and community organisations and to date, feedback has been very positive.

Responsibilities ● Manage all supplier payments, bookkeeping, payroll and other transactional finance matters. ● Support for costing of grant applications and tender bids. ● Preparation and presentation of financial forecasts, annual/half-yearly budgets and longer-term financial plans. ● Ensure compliance with payroll, taxation and other financial reporting requirements.

Essential Experience: ● Accounts Payable and accounts receivable background within a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced, performance-driven company. ● Experience within a not for profit /healthcare environment will be well regarded. ● Ability to work autonomously – including planning and organising your own work ● Experience in financial management, budgeting, and planning ● Experience using XERO accounting software

Essential Skills: ● A desire to help people to improve their mental health ● Attention to detail ● Excellent time management skills ● Ability to plan and organize self, quick learner ● Strong analysis and problem-solving skills ● Strong internet search skills and Basic excel ● Business report writing skills ● Must have own computer, phone, and internet connection

Qualification ● Advanced diploma/ Bachelor’s degree (Major in Finance, Accounting or similar) ● CPA/CA qualification would be ideal
