Community Services #1 is a community-based profit-for-purpose organisation that manages and delivers a range of community programs, such as family support services, children’s services, and aged care programs.

The Food Pantry is looking for a volunteer/volunteers to support the Pantry when deliveries arrive from FoodBank NSW, OzHarvest, Dinner’s Ready, St Vincent de Paul, The Period Project, Rainbow Paws Program, Domestic Animal Services ACT and community donations.

This position will be moving boxes, packing shelves, and is a rather physical role, so if you are fit and healthy and enjoy giving back to the community, please apply. This is to a client facing role.

This position is available Tuesdays 2pm to 5pm. There is a requirement for a 'Volunteer Working with Vulnerable People' Card which can be obtained free from Access Canberra. We can support you through this process if required.
