Put your love of flowers and plants to use as you assist residents at HammondCare Darlinghurst develop their interest in growing and sustaining plants/veggies. This is a great opportunity to engage creatively with residents who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness - and who have high care needs.

You’ll enjoy this volunteering role if you have a knowledge of growing and caring for indoor plants and plants for balconies and small spaces.

Ideally you'll be available for 1-3 hours each week, preferably mornings, for 12 months or longer. We would be happy to chat about a suitable time and day during the week, Monday to Friday.

We're seeking people aged between 21-63 years old. You will be required to show proof of having a recent flu vaccination – or be willing to have the vaccination prior to volunteering.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. HammondCare is located at 118 Darlinghurst Rd, Darlinghurst.Successful applicants will be required to complete a police background check which we’ll arrange.
