The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Aussie Hands Foundation Inc.

Support this valuable community organisation to identify available grants and funding opportunities. The Grant and Fundraising Coordinator works closely with the Board member responsible for the Aussie Hands grant and fundraising strategy.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Identify available grants, funding opportunities, sponsorships or other sources of funds for Aussie Hands
• Identify appropriate Aussie Hands projects which may be eligible for funding and facilitate the application submission process
• Prepare quality grants and funding submissions and assist others with the process, including research and analysis to support funding applications.
• Assist in completing grant compliance, monitoring and acquittal processes

• Ability to develop productive working and interpersonal relationships with members of the Aussie Hands Board of Management and staff
• Demonstrated drive and integrity

Induction and Training:

• Induction into the Aussie Hands Foundation
• Training on the use of grant/funding database
• Briefing on previous grant application and familiarity with grant writing resources
• Training on STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Results) technique as it relates to grant writing
