This position covers various Centres around the City of Bayswater area. The City has two community buses that are hired out to various community groups for social outings. These outings may involve driving members from local community groups or local Senior Citizens Centres to various social venues for the day. Outings may take place at different times throughout the week, and the role is flexible to the volunteers availability.

Duties

• Collect and return bus from Council depot

• Maintain records on odometer and any maintenance requirements

• Collect community group, drive them to and from their destination (as directed by the Coordinator of the community group)

Training requirements

Some training may be compulsory to the position. Training includes:

• Drivers Assessment

• First Aid

• Manual Handling / Hoist training

• Initial Bus Induction / Tour of depot
