As a HammondCare volunteer at our aged care home in Cardiff, you'll engage with people living with dementia to potter in the gardens, tend the plants, or water the gardens. There's no hard labour involved, just an opportunity to give back and share your love of gardening.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia. We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the residents.

Ideally you’ll be available one hour a week. We'd be happy to discuss with you a suitable time between Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a police background check which we'll arrange. Due to our Covid19 criteria, you'll need to provide proof of your flu vaccination - or be willing to have the vaccination prior to starting. You may need to wear a face mask, as directed.
