With your assistance as a mini-bus driver, elderly aged care residents from HammondCare in North Turramurra will enjoy an outing in the local area. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the resident care needs.
As the bus is a 10 seater, anyone with a current Australian drivers licence, and five years good driving history can volunteer. We will provide training on driving the bus as well as orientation and ongoing support from an on-site Volunteer Coordinator.
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia and aged care. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the residents who may be frail and elderly or living with dementia.
