The role of Op Shop Team Leader exists to ensure successful Op Shop Operations at a local level in line with RSPCA Victoria policies, processes and values.

The role requires excellent people skills to lead and guide a team of volunteers, the ability to work independently and meet RSPCA Victoria expectations around reporting.

The Volunteer Team leader's duties may include:

Ensuring the Op Shop can Trade according to its determined opening hours by preparing volunteer rosters, communicating shift allocations and working with RSPCA Victoria staff to support volunteer recruitment at a local level.

Leading a team of volunteers in the Op Shop, creating a positive culture and identifying workplace issues that arise including customer service complaints.

Implementing the Op Shop Operational Manual and guidelines

Ensuring financial paperwork (daily takings, banking and weekly reports) are completed accurately.
