Radio 1RPH urgently needs grant writers to help build new income streams to secure the station's financial future. Grant writers will research grant opportunities for the station and apply for grants under the guidance of the Committee and Station Manager.

Grants writers can work flexibly, some hours at the Station during normal business hours but also at home or elsewhere. Most communication will be undertaken by email, on-line research and access to grants programs application information and forms. Some phone calls and face to face meetings will be required to clarify grant requirements and obtain clear direction on grant proposal content and quotes.

You will need access to a car, home computer and mobile phone to perform this role.

As a 1 RPH volunteer you would also be welcome to participate in other volunteer activities at the station.

Skills required :

• Excellent written and oral communication, organisational and time-management skills • Experience in drafting grant applications or in the conduct of government grants programs. • A positive attitude and not being afraid to ask for help or guidance when required.
