Beauty Workshop Volunteer - Tweed Heads
Cancer Patients Foundation LtdLook Good Feel Better is a free national community service program run by the Cancer Patients Foundation, dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment.
We are looking for experienced beauty advisers, makeup artists, demonstrators or those with a general love of cosmetics who are comfortable demonstrating to join our team of valued volunteers to equip our patients with confidence to face the cancer diagnosis for four (4) hours per workshop in Tweed Heads. We will provide all training so you don't have to be a professional beauty therapist, but must be comfortable speaking in front of a small group.
As a LGFB volunteer, we ask that you:
- Have a love of cosmetics and a passion for helping others.
- Be willing to commit to at least four workshops per year.
- Work as part of a team.
- Adhere to LGFB volunteer policies and complete relevant documents (including a National Police Check and provide Covid-19 vaccination/exemption).
