Asperger Services Australia is seeking a Centre Operations Deputy Director for this 100% volunteer- managed organisation. This role will support the Centre Director in the administration and management of the Centre; work with the Board of Directors to increase the day to day use of the Centre and work with the Board and other volunteers to improve the financial viability of Asperger Services Australia Ltd.

Volunteers must have knowledge of Autism Spectrum Conditions Level 1 and Level 2 and NDIS experience

This is an ongoing position (ideally with a long term commitment) for someone who can act as the understudy to the Centre Director with the view to assume that role at some state in the future.

Skills required:

• Good Communication skills • Good organisational skills • Some finance skills or the ability to learn • Some commercial sense and experience • An interest in volunteering with Asperger Services Australia long term • A willingness to commit to several days a week • The successful applicant needs to work closely with several volunteers, accounting, events, support and group coordinators • Must have knowledge of Autism Spectrum Conditions Level 1 & Level 2 • Must have NDIS experience

Your role will support the Centre as it gives this community (people on the Autistic Spectrum and their families) a central point of connecting and belonging.
