Mentoring Men is a free one-on-one life mentoring program where volunteer male mentors support other men through life’s challenges. Mentoring Men carefully matches men who seek a mentor with a professionally trained, non-judgmental confidant (a mentor) whose primary objective is to listen, support and encourage.

Mentoring Men is dependent on private and government grants and donations for the operation and expansion of our program so one of the main duties for this position will be to prepare grant applications.

The Mentoring Men program is currently being expanded to eventually be a national program so another duty for this position will be to assist with managing events that help promote the Mentoring Men program to prospective mentors as well as men who would like to seek a mentor.

There are also some other administration tasks.

This role is suited to someone who is passionate about our vision of "Supporting men in their life journey". The role requires a working knowledge of the internet and to be proficient with common computer programs like MS Word.
