As a HammondCare volunteer at Woy Woy, you'll engage with people living with dementia to potter in the gardens, tend the plants, or water the gardens. There's no hard labour involved, just an opportunity to give back and share your love of gardening.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia. We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our residents in our residential care home.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
