Sales assistant event (Marrickville)
Ted Noffs Foundation NSWEvent details: We will be hosting a large sale for one day only to make ourselves properly known to the area. All clothing items will be $3.5 and we will have constant restock of items throughout the day to ensure all customers can purchase something! We have held events similar to this in the past and have found we really needed extra helpers as it can get quite busy.
Schedule: 9 am till 10 am - setting up the event 10 am till 5 pm - sale (allocated hour break in the middle) 5 pm till 6 pm - packing down the event
Responsibilities and duties include: • Putting clothing onto the racks • Operating a cash register and accepting EFTPOS payment • Packaging goods for customers after a sale • Handing out flyers for the event on the day in the local shopping center • Keeping the shop tidy and clothing off the ground • Being aware of health, safety and welfare issues, and practices
Essential Requirements: • Enjoy working with people •Friendly and confident manner with a pleasant personality • Good personal presentation
• A helpful & courteous manner • Ability to deal accurately with money • Willing to work as part of a team.
