We are looking for mature volunteers who would like to visit an elderly lady in her own home.

We ask that you are able to visit someone weekly for an hour to chat and have a cuppa with.

These visits have a huge impact on the mental health of the elderly. benefit those isolated giving them some company and possible friendship, being able to talk about their past  and the things that make them happy.

If you feel you have the time and personality to give back to others then this is the volunteer position for you.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
