The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Epilepsy Foundation.

Come and help us deliver a fabulous event for families living with epilepsy. You will need to be available on Saturday the 22nd June between 10.30am-3.30pm.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

We need the help of 10 volunteers to help us deliver a fabulous event for families living with epilepsy. There are many differing tasks such as:

• Assisting with parking
• Setting up and cleaning up (bump in/bump out)
• Guiding families
• Food preparation ( it will be catered but helping to lay it out)
• Guidance to activities
• Greeting families as they register

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills
• Empathy
• Patience
• Observant - noticing when someone might need some quiet, practical support
• Willingness to get involved, extend yourself
• Work as part of a team
• Work within privacy/confidentiality guidelines
