Bookshop manager

Gould League
Logo for Gould League

After the last 3 years of disruption and rolling lockdowns, we are seeing an increased demand for people wanting to re-connect with nature. As a result, the demand for our renowned posters, books and other resources has grown. We are looking for assistance in processing and distributing our resources to ensure we strengthen and build our connection to the community. And in turn, strengthen the community back to nature.

We are offering this role as part of our Community Connections team. The Bookshop manager role involves processing, packing and dispatching orders, along with some data entry and general administrative tasks. Some work will be on-site at our Cheltenham Sustainability Centre and some can be done from home.

Our Sustainability Centre has a dedicated workspace set up for this role complete with a PC, printer and scanner, and postal packing room. There is also a kitchenette with tea and coffee supplied.

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, good customer service and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The role requires 3 - 8 hours a week and can be split over 2 days. Full training will be offered. We are a Covid safe workplace.
