ABOUT THE COMPANY Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital (HSNPH) is an established and reputable acute tertiary private Catholic hospital on the Northside of Brisbane; jointly owned by St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA). We are known for our comprehensive critical care, as well as inpatient and day patient services across a diverse range of medical and surgical disciplines.

ABOUT THE ROLE At HSNPH, one of the ways we achieve high quality person centred care is by collaborating with consumer’s that are current, former or potential patients and their families. Consumers contribute to our Mission through providing input about their experiences, knowledge, observations and suggestions.

DUTIES Key responsibilities include: • Be an active participant of the Consumer Advisory Committee • Raise concerns that are of importance • Adhere to and maintain confidentiality of all employees, patients and visitors • Design and review of patient information and marketing materials

REQUIREMENTS The requirements of being a consumer are: • You must be 18 years of age or above • Your participation is voluntary • A minimum of a 2 year engagement is required • To have an understanding of healthcare from a consumer perspective • To have effective interpersonal and communication skills
