• Website content updating and maintenance using currently WordPress • Content optimization and SEO • Create and populate newsletter content with information provided and sourced • Manipulate and upload images and video content to the website and social platforms • Manage and maintain editorial content and metadata within WordPress framework • Link Viktor [volunteering software application] and WordPress to populate the volunteering database. • Provide technical advice and innovative ideas to the Board Mentor – Executive Director, Events Co-Ordinator, Media Manger and Marketing team regarding VCS’s online presence. • Carry out duties in accordance with Volunteering Sunshine Coast (VSC) policies and procedures. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Essential: • Proficient in computing software, including:  WordPress  Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Publisher and Excel  Photoshop or similar program

• Adept using Facebook and LinkedIn and proficient to push out relevant posts and interactions to drive engagement. • Well-developed and effective writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail. • Web designing skills. • Works well independently and as part of a team. • Strong organization and time management skills. • Ability to understand, follow and adhere to VSC Policies and Procedures. Preferred: • An understanding of the Viktor Volunteer Management software

QUALIFICATIONS Preferred: qualification in creating and maintain websites, editing of images and video • Communication - excellent written and verbal skills • Time management • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
