2018 FIJI INDEPENDENCE DAY & RUGBY SEVENS TOURNAMENT NEEDS YOU!!

WHAT IS FIJI INDEPENDENCE DAY: All cultures from around Sydney, Australia & the World will converge on the Liverpool Local Government Area to display & exhibit Fijian cultural items, traditional dances, cultural food & festival fever to support the rich Fijian & Fijian Indian history. It is a community celebration that will last for two days & include a Rugby 7's Tournament.
WHEN AND WHERE VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED: • Thursday 18th October 2018 between 12pm and 8pm - Liverpool • Friday 19th October 2018 between 9am and 10pm - Liverpool • Saturday 20th October 2018 between 7am and 10pm - Liverpool • Volunteer Orientation takes place on Wednesday 17th October 2018 at 6.30pm - Liverpool
VOLUNTEER ROLES (including, but not limited to): • Set up & bump out • Assisting with prizes and giveaways • Rugby 7's Sports Activities • VIP area serving of tea, coffees & cake • Handing Out Programs • Constructing of Lolly Leis • Backstage support
WHAT VOLUNTEERS NEED: • Working with Children Check • National Police Certificate • Photo Identification (student, drivers licence, passport, under 18 card etc) • Covered footwear, mobile phone, snacks, water • A happy, positive, fun, can-do attitude
