Day Surgery Unit Support - Calvary Wakefield Hospital

This is a wonderful opportunity to help and support patients and staff in Day Surgery Unit with hospitality and kindness. Your contribution will add value to our service of supporting and caring for our patients, families and staff.

Volunteers will be: ~ Exercising hospitality to patients - tea and coffee, assisting at meal times, listening to patients. ~ Escorting patients.

National Police Certificate

- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in team environment. - Understand the need for respect of privacy and confidentiality. - Ability to support patients in a non-discriminatory way. - Neat appearance. We are looking for someone who is able to commit for a minimum period of 12 months Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type and level of cover (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)
