MECA has always been committed to supporting the local community by initiating and participating in a range of programs targeting diverse groups of people. Our all-new Learn to Drive program is designed to develop the driving skills of young people in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to support young people, adding to the multitude of ways that we have been contributing to the wellbeing of the community.

About the role:

We are currently looking for volunteers who are passionate about helping young learner drivers develop their driving skills and maximise their readiness to take their Provisional P1 driving test.

Candidates are required to have a full NSW driver’s licence in order to be qualified for this role.

Given the volunteer nature of this role, it is an unpaid role.

About you:

You are a passionate, outgoing and enthusiastic driving coach who is prepared to support young learner drivers to develop their driving skills. You are confident in your abilities and are someone to whom a young person looks up as their role model.

You do not need to be a driving instructor to be qualified for this role. However, being an experienced driver is ideal.
