Volunteer at Pinkies Cafe, Kurri Kurri Hospital

Kurri Kurri Hospital is set high on the hill off Hospital Road and is a busy hub for day surgery, acute medical and rehabilitation. The hospital also provides an Emergency Department to patients from Kurri Kurri and surrounds.
With such a busy workload and no nearby shop the volunteers offer a convenient cafe amongst their many services to help staff and visitors alike. We need at least two people per day to make sure it opened as much as possible.
A private meeting with staff health will be arranged to give you all the requirements to keep yourself safe and to take care of our patients and staff.
if you'd like to help bring the kiosk to life at 'Pinkies Cafe' you could work as little as one day a week but you'd be making a huge difference to the people who work onsite, visit patients or work nearby at the Masonic Centre.
Volunteers can also provide patient care services to help you gain an understanding of the health system if that's where you'd like to find future work placement or if you'd like to help out people by providing them with a chat, a warm smile and help the patients and carers to be more comfortable in the health service.
