Health Navigation Volunteer
NSW Refugee Health ServiceRefugees can face challenges accessing health care because of the complexity of our health system, and due to transport and language difficulties.
Health Navigation Volunteers will assist newly arrived refugees helping them to get to health appointments and navigate the health care system. This will enable them to successfully attend their health appointments, in particular appointments at hospitals, with specialists, at dental clinics, women’s health centres and with other health practitioners.
Both English speaking and Arabic Bilingual Volunteers are encouraged to apply.
