Alzheimer's WAKey Outcomes: Assists with the preparation of meals and refreshments Assists in menu planning for the coming week Sets the lunchtime dining room table Assists in serving meals to clients of the day centre Assists in clearing up the kitchen and dining area following meals and refreshments Participate in Foodsafe Training.
Selection Criteria: Good communication skills An understanding of dementia and its impact on the individual (we can provide this training) Good domestic skills Basic understanding of food hygiene (training will be provided)
Time and Availability Requirements: Approximately 2 - 4 hours, once per week on a weekday
