BURNIE BRAE LIMITED operates a large community centre and a range of funded community services. Membership is open to anyone over 18. The Centre operates Monday to Friday and at other times for some services, activities and functions. It conducts a wide range of activities and services for older people and younger people with a disability. The Centre promotes healthy ageing and improved quality of life by providing the opportunity for social, educational and recreational participation. It also offers a number of community services within the North Brisbane area which support frail aged persons, younger people with disabilities and their carers.
