We are a dedicated and skilled team, performing roles beyond fire suppression; educating and engaging our community (Drouin West, Jindivick & Brandy Creek and surrounds), helping residents develop fire plans and responding to other emergencies when they happen. We have Firefighters (operational volunteers) who respond to fire, motor vehicle accidents and other incidents where potential or actual risks are posed to life and/or property. Operational roles also involve management of vegetation, fire equipment and broader incidents. Many operational volunteers also undertake non-operational roles/positions. We have many Support (non-operational) volunteers. Non-operational volunteers support the brigade and community in a range of ways, including but not limited to fundraising, events, publicity, education, health and safety, treasury, administration and prevention and preparedness programs.
