At Macedon Ranges Montessori Pre School, we pride ourselves in creating a partnership with families to celebrate and nurture each child's intrinsic desire towards a love of learning and self-growth. We achieve this through supportive relationships, respecting and understanding others and their cultures, joyful learning and meaningful work within a Montessori environment. Three components of the Montessori philosophy which we empathise are; follow the child, teach me how to do It myself and freedom within limits. The classroom and materials cover key elements of learning including practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language and culture. This is complemented by the outdoor area which is an extension of the inside space as well as being a space in its own right.
