The YCW is a volunteer-run social justice movement and is open to people of all faith backgrounds. YCW is run for young people, by young people. YCW invites young people between the age of 14 – 34 who want to make a difference to their communities, places of work and in their own lives. YCW is a place to put your beliefs into action with other like-minded young people. YCW Mission: To take action for the relief of poverty, misfortune and all forms of suffering and injustices that young students and young workers may experience, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through action, we seek to empower all young people to: - Discover the deepest meaning of their lives - Live according to their personal and collective dignity - Take up responsibilities for finding solutions to their own situations and problems YCW Vision: Everyone is welcome and especially underrepresented and vulnerable students and young workers. We want to build inclusion, so that all students and workers can feel represented, loved and validated in a community where everyone can feel safe in expressing their opinions, have challenging conversations and make decisions by consensus.
