Paws for Connection, a volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to supporting elderly Australians and their pets who may be facing hardship and loneliness. We understand that many seniors experience social isolation, limited mobility, or health challenges that make it difficult for them to care for their beloved pets or engage with their community. Sadly, these challenges can lead to declining mental and physical health, increased loneliness, and a greater risk of anxiety and depression. That’s where Paws for Connection steps in. Our mission is to provide free, volunteer-led dog walking services to help seniors continue experiencing the unconditional love of their pets, whilst nurturing social connections.
