Our vision is of a Sierra Leone, one of the most dangerous places in the world to have a baby, where no mother or baby dies during child birth due to poverty. We work in partnership with the Freedom from Fistula Foundation and the Aberdeen Women’s Center in Freetown safely delivering almost 3000 babies a year, repairing fistula and providing midwife education. We are a happy, determined, hardworking group of volunteers led by our CEO Aminata Conteh-Biger, who believe in transparency, health rights, community spirit and making our world a better place.
