Alawa Scout Group is seeking adults (18+) interested in becoming Leaders in our Scouting family. Leadership will provide you with the opportunity to encourage, mentor & empower young people, contribute to the community, challenge yourself, have fun, learn new skills, gain recognised leadership & management qualifications & be appreciated. Leaders and Assistant Leaders are being sought for sections including: Joeys (5-7 yrs), Cubs (8-10 yrs) and Scouts (11-14 yrs).
This program seeks to support young people from the Alice Springs community to access and participate in sports. This role suits someone over the age of 18 who is able to build good rapport with young people, maintain positive relationships, is enthusiastic and can commit to 2-3 hours per week/fortnight. You will gain valuable experience working in the community while providing companionship and friendship to someone experiencing vulnerability.
