We are looking for a suitably experienced volunteer with organisational and planning skills to assist the Furniture Logistics truck driver (3 tonne truck) responsible for transporting trestle tables and stackable plastic chairs from campsite to campsite during Bicycle SA's biennial Flinders Ranges 2023 Outback Odyssey; 6 to 21 May 2023.

You will be assisting the Event Manager with event logistics during the Dirty Weekend, Friday 21 April 2023. This is a great way to gain and/or extend your event experience in setting up an event village.

This is an excellent way to gain/enhance skills/experience which would assist in job opportunities in companies engaged in closing roads during repairs and major events.

If you enjoy working outdoors, and able to accompany and support the Sag vehicle driver, then we would you like to be part of Bicycle SA's Grand/Mini Slam recreational rides volunteer team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain navigational skills throughout the Adelaide Hills and also be able to identify and retrieve signage.

The Grand/Mini Slam events are a series of 5 recreational bike rides held in the Adelaide Hills during the year from February to October. Registrations Officers are required to enter and check rider details against the registration database and issue ride ID numbers before the ride. They also need to ensure that the riders report back to the registration desk after completing each loop of the ride.

We are looking for volunteers who are organised, can use their initiative and are able to take direction as required, have a vehicle licence (desirable) and do not mind early mornings to assist with catering for lunches at our Grand/Mini Slam recreation bike rides. These rides are held throughout the beautiful Adelaide Hills during the year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain further experience in event logistics and catering/food handling/management.
