The Emergency Support Team (EST) is a local recovery group made up of volunteers that are available to provide leadership and support to the people of Emerald directly after an emergency or major bushfire event in our region. Applicants must reside in Cardinia or Yarra Ranges Shires. The EST is a recognised recovery agency under the Municipal Emergency Management Plan and operates on a team basis with our 40 volunteers working across the following teams: • Registration • Communications • Pastoral Care including elderly and children • Animal welfare • Logistics • Catering
