Warnervale Wellness Centre provides a bright, welcome and engaging atmosphere for clients who live with dementia. Clients are cared for by a well trained and dedicated team who supply activities, meals and encourage social interaction. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9am - 2pm. Volunteers provide:

• valuable individual social support to the clients
• encouragement in client participation in activities and discussions
• assistance to staff with serving of meals and other regular daily tasks
• an extra pair of hands and eyes on outings Volunteers are encouraged to share their skills, e.g. piano, guitar playing; singing; arts and crafts etc. There is flexibility with times to allow for school drop off/pick up, holidays, uni exams etc....
